Any tips and advice?

I’m looking to get my grass cut twice a month, but how much do these lawn mowing companies charge? an estimate, 30/mo 40/mo or more?

She is crazy, my lawn service mowed some of her lawn and she flipped out. I have not been getting along with her. That is just the tip of the iceberg. There has been other problems with her, but I can not seem to reason with her. And no I can not move.
Any suggestions?

i’m doing some lawns around my vacation house and i was just looking for some good tips. for example im going to be doing things like planting flowers, mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and weeding. anything to help would be great, for example i have never trimmed a bush in my life so i could use some tips.

My husband, John, and two friends, Brian and Xavier, have a lawn care service they’ve started. They’ve been doing it for about a year now and have built up a pretty good assortment of regular customers. They mainly mow lawns, but occasionally rake leaves, weed eat, pull trees/shrubs, trim hedges, pressure wash roofs. They also do random labor – they’re helping someone build a shed this spring, they help people move, one of the trio is an electrician, some plumbing, a LOT of construction work . . . basically they do lawn care and everything else on request.
They’ve decided to start turning this into a real business and for that, we need a business name. Something short and catchy that encompasses the whole of their business in a nutshell . . . if that’s possible.
Also, if you have any ideas that might help them promote their business and get it up and running, I’d love to hear them.

I hired a lawn service to clean my leaves up and gutters after the winter. He asked if I wanted them to mow my lawn and I said no since I was selling my house and moving. I paid the bill I received (even though they did a crappy job) Then after I sold my house, I received a bill for two separate dates they say they mowed, trimmed my lawn on dates prior to the sale of my house. I called the guy and complained and also threatened to call the BBB. Not only that, but I actually had the neighbor kid cut my grass right before I sold my house! Then I get another bill with just one date on it. I am seething mad! How do I prove they didn’t cut my grass?? I never signed any contract. I am so mad, I can’t sleep. I am a single mom who doesn’t have time to deal with this crap. This is the 2nd lawn co. to try this sort of thing. The year before I received bids for lawn clean up, hired a company and then another company billed me! I had to have the one I did hire call them!!! can you believe this??
I went ahead and filed a complaint with the BBB. I’m just pissed off that companies like this try to rip people off. Trust me, it’s not a money thing. It’s over $30-60. I have lost out on $100 rebates because my desk is a mess and I don’t turn them in on time, but this is down right WRONG!! Thanks for all the advice.
